Adoring smiles of loved ones.
and a quiet rain that passed just as the bride walked down a aisle
It was the perfect Cancun day for this BEAUTIFUL couple and their lovely children to become an official family of 5.
Just a couple of my favorites. This bride and former middle school walking buddy, was just as beautiful getting ready and the morning after her wedding, as she was walking down the aisle!
Ok so this is only my opinion but every family needs one perfect picture all staring and smiling at the camera, maybe for the Christmas card or a Facebook profile pic
As perfect as those family photos are, no family is perfect but every family has perfect moments.
I loved this session with these three sisters because they gave me so much “perfect” to capture!
We are all busy.
But what is more important in our lives than having fun and enjoying each other?
I’ve learned it’s not the perfect pretty smiles that make a memorable photo ( although these are great for the family Christmas card) it’s seeing our children have FUN and enjoy us and each other that we want captured and memorialized.
There was so much FUN in this session that’s what I choose to blog about and share.
These photos, this family make me smile. I hope they make you smile too!
When shooting kids there are usually two types. The ones who want their picture taken and those who don’t! Thankfully these two loved it ( ok maybe sister loved it a little more)
These two were AWESOME, creative, fun and SUPER sweet! It was such a pleasure meeting them and their mom. Thanks to their creativity and participation we were able to get some good stuff.
Kudos to Mom for raising such distinctively different but equally awesome kids!
Aw a Mama and her baby boy!
These kids were so excited to find their “Butt” tree they found on their school field trip! Can’t wait until Mom gets to show them these photos!
psst…I like a girl Don’t tell Mom
Starting August 25th – and through October 18th, almost every single very close friend, family member, parent, niece, nephew, cousin, and child, with few exceptions celebrates their Birthday!. A clear indication of how our families celebrate the Holiday Season…
This weekend we had the pleasure of heading to Pinehurst to celebrate Grandaddy’s 60th birthday and celebrate some milestones of the littlest littles!
It’s not often you hear of, or better get to witness a triple wedding. Often brides and grooms are fixated on creating their own special day with a celebration exclusive to their individual vision. There is nothing wrong with that ( I’ve done it twice ) however how unbelievably cool was it for me to witness a ceremony that was truly about nothing else than the commitment to one another and the celebration of six very important friendships.
Younger and less experienced couples will tell you until they are blue in the face ( myself included) that they understand the true meaning and the hard work and sacrifice necessary to commit yourself to another person. Without the life experience to back it up, it’s tough to know what that really means.
These 3 amazing couples have overcome a wide variety of obstacles to share the privilege and joy to commit themselves to one another a little later in life. With that comes a deeper understanding, a deeper connection and real and very raw emotion.
For these couples it was a real honor to be able to share their day make it exclusively about each other and CELEBRATE. What an amazing day and I’m proud and happy to show some previews of not one, not two but THREE beautiful celebrations of love and friendship!
They even shared the flowers ( well sort of)
The DC War Memorial. What a perfect place for a wedding.
The Ring.. It’s official!
And the day wouldn’t be complete without help for the photographer!
